With the help of our community and volunteers, To promote oral health awareness and provide a means for members of the Texas community to receive oral care.

Sponsors are able to contribute three ways:
Direct Contribution
Given via credit card or check to the Texas A&M Foundation for the benefit of the Social Services Dental Care Fund to directly provide dental treatment to those in need. Pay with Credit Card: To pay securely with credit card, click the button below.
Pay by Check: All checks can be made payable to the Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry, with “Miles for Smiles” on the memo line. Checks can be mailed to: 3302 Gaston Ave Room 735, Dallas, Texas 75246. All contributions made are tax deductible to the extent no goods or services are received in return.
Pledge-Per-Mile Donation
By pledging a per-mile donation, your total contribution will depend on the cumulative miles run by all participants. For example, if 50 cents were pledged per mile, and 1000 miles were run, your donation would be $500. You may also place a maximum pledge amount on your donation, which will determine your sponsorship level. (See Sponsorship Levels below.) You will be contacted for sending payment upon tallying of miles after Race Day. Texas A&M Foundation is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization of which contributions to are tax deductible to the extent no goods or services are received in return.
Donate toward Event Supplies or Fees
To ensure 100 percent of all direct contributions and per-mile pledges go towards our cause, all event fees are paid for through private donations. To contribute to these expenses, please email Mehrad Sadeghpour at Sadeghpour@bcd.tamhsc.edu.

Sponsorship Highlights
• National Recognition: In 2017, the Miles for Smiles initiative received the award for “Outstanding Event” among all Dental Schools in the Nation by the American Dental Education Association.
•8 Universities: Miles for Smiles is a collaborative effort among 8 Universities in North Texas, including: UT Dallas, Texas A&M, UNT, SMU, UT Arlington, Austin College, UT Tyler, and Collin College.
• Continuous Growth: The amount raised by the Miles for Smiles initiative doubled every year during its first 5 years. We hope to accomplish this again in 2018 for our tenth anniversary.
• No administrative fees: With the generous support of student organizations and private donors, the event has remained completely free to all participants since day one
Contributions to the Texas A&M Foundation for the benefit of the Texas A&M College of Dentistry Social Services Dental Care Fund are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law and may be given to benefit the college through the Texas A&M Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization.
